    1985 - 1991: The Flying Doctors

After a few early bit parts as a muso and a cowboy, I eventually was cast in the semi-regular role of "Burns", the aircraft mechanic. Distant locations and early mornings. Sometimes it was so cold, the actors had to suck on ice before takes so they didn't blow steam when they talked because we were supposed to be in the desert! Mum and Dad were regulars on this series for eight years, although they had nothing to do with my casting. Television doesn't work that way.
