    1996 - 1998: Crazy For You

Cast in the major role of "Lank Hawkins", the show was to be staged in 1995, but collapsed. It was remounted a year later, and again I won the role, for different producers. We opened at the Theatre Royal in Sydney and played there for nearly a year. Then we came down to the State Theatre in Melbourne, and finally up to the Lyric Theatre in Brisbane. I did over 500 performances and left my good knees somewhere on the stage. I was nominated for a Green Room award as Best Featured Actor in a Musical, and after three nominations, finally won. Hooray!
