I've hosted many awards functions including The Australian Greeting Card Industry awards, The Network Video awards, and various sporting awards nights. The trick is to keep it flowing and funny, as the nights can get a bit long sometimes, without losing touch with the importance of the awards to their various recipients and nominees.
